The Wee Kitchen is a hands-on cookery school in Leith, Edinburgh, running relaxed and sociable cooking classes inspired by food from around the world.
Choose from Scottish, Japanese, Sri Lankan, Lebanese, Korean, Spanish, Greek, Chinese and Indian menus, with something different happening in the kitchen throughout the week.
Classes are designed for all abilities, whether you cook all the time or barely know where to start. Come with someone you know or book a place by yourself – everyone cooks in pairs before sitting down together to enjoy what they’ve made.
And because good food deserves a good drink, all of our classes are BYOB.
We love hosting private group cooking classes here at The Wee Kitchen. Whether you’re planning a Hen or Stag do, organising a work social, or you’re looking for a fun and unique birthday experience in Edinburgh – we’ve got you covered.
A cooking class can be a great way to break the ice with a new group, bring friends or colleagues together, or just something a bit different for a night out.
I’ve always loved bringing people together through food and I set up The Wee Kitchen in order to run the kind of classes I’d want to go to myself – a welcoming atmosphere, hands on experience and of course, really good food.
I love that I am constantly meeting new people in this job – from Edinburgh locals to tourists from all over the world.
It’s not just me – I am lucky enough to have an incredible team of tutors and assistants who help to run the show and ensure you have a great time.
