Our Traditional Scottish Masterclass can be booked exactly as it is, giving your group a relaxed, hands-on introduction to some of Scotland’s best-known food and flavours.

For private groups, there’s also the option to personalise your experience. Add extra dishes or tastings to create a longer or more celebratory menu, with options such as Haggis Bon Bons with Whisky Cream Sauce, Cranachan, or additional Scottish produce and tastings.

Private classes can be totally tailored based on your group’s likes and dislikes. From dietary requirements to ‘no thank you, I will not be trying haggis’, we can adapt our classes to suit your needs.

Bring your own bottle

This class is BYOB, so you’re very welcome to bring along drinks to enjoy during the session. We’ll sit down together at the end to enjoy the food we’ve prepared.

Working style

You’ll work together as a private group, usually in pairs, with plenty of hands-on involvement and guidance throughout.

Our Scottish cooking masterclass is suitable for all levels of cooking knowledge and experience.

Allergies & dietary requirements

Vegetarian options are available, including vegetarian haggis. If you have other dietary requirements, please email hello@theweekitchen.co.uk before booking. All dietary requirements must be stated at the time of booking so the correct ingredients can be purchased.

Cooking class sizes

Private bookings are available for minimum 2 guests, maximum 22.

Availability and duration

Private classes can potentially be booked for any time but the best availability is from Thursday evening through to Sunday evening.

A typical private event lasts 3 hours, but this can be tailored to suit your needs. 

Class pricing

This is a private masterclass for your group only. Your booking includes the full private cooking experience, all ingredients, the multi-dish meal, and the Scottish cheese tasting.

£750 for up to 8 people for our standard experience
£75 per additional guest
