Cook classic Scottish dishes in a friendly, hands-on cooking class.

You’ll prepare Cullen Skink, Scotland’s famous smoked haddock soup, and bake buttery traditional shortbread, while learning the stories and history behind these much-loved recipes.

You’ll also enjoy a curated Scottish cheese tasting, before sitting down together to enjoy everything you’ve prepared.

Bring your own bottle

This class is BYOB, so you’re very welcome to bring along drinks to enjoy during the session. We’ll sit down together at the end to enjoy the food we’ve prepared.

What should I bring with me?

You don't have to bring anything! However, I strongly recommend that you bring an apron, a tupperware for leftovers, and since it's BYOB - something to drink!

Working in pairs

You’ll be working in pairs during the class. If you’re booking on your own, don’t worry - you’ll be paired up on the day.

Allergies & dietary requirements

Our classes can be adapted to suit a range of dietary requirements. These lists highlight some of the dietary needs we can and can't accommodate, but they aren't exhaustive. If you don't see your requirement listed or you're unsure, please get in touch before booking and we'll be happy to advise.

Our kitchen is cleaned and maintained to a high standard, but we can't guarantee it's completely free from allergens. For this reason, our classes aren't suitable for people with coeliac disease.

Please let us know about any dietary requirements when you book so we can make sure we have the right ingredients ready.

Class sizes

A minimum of 4 participants is required for the class to run. If we need to cancel or amend the session due to low numbers, you will be informed in advance and offered a full refund.

Cancellations

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the class are eligible for a full refund or transfer to another class. Cancellations made within 7 days of the class are non-refundable, unless your place can be filled by another participant. I

f we are able to fill your spot, a refund or class transfer will be issued. Thank you for your understanding - classes require advance preparation and ingredient purchasing.
