This bespoke experience is designed for companies & teams looking for a unique way to bond over food in a relaxed and friendly kitchen setting.
Looking for a team building activity in Edinburgh that’s a little different from the usual work social? At The Wee Kitchen, we bring colleagues together over good food, a bit of friendly competition and plenty of laughs.
Our private corporate cooking classes are relaxed, hands-on and designed to get everyone involved, whether you’re a team of confident home cooks or complete beginners. Choose from a range of cuisines, roll up your sleeves and work together to create a delicious meal before sitting down to enjoy everything you’ve made.
Whether you’re organising a team away day, celebrating a company milestone, entertaining clients or simply looking for an excuse to get everyone together outside the office, a cooking class at The Wee Kitchen is a brilliant way to connect over something other than work.
During your masterclass we’ll cook a sit-down multi dish meal, based on whichever menu you choose. From street food to curries and Japanese bar snacks, you’ll master new techniques and learn a dish to impress with at home.
Every cooking class is a hands-on experience, we can tailor the class to be more or less hands on depending on what your group would prefer.
Choose from 9 different cuisines and pick the one that suits your team best: Scottish, Japanese, Sri Lankan, Greek, Lebanese, Spanish, Korean, Chinese or Indian.
Private classes can be totally tailored based on your group’s likes and dislikes. From dietary requirements to ‘I actually can’t stand beetroot’, we can adapt our classes to suit your needs.
This was something completely different for me, learnt new skills, and a really fun way to spend a Saturday morning! Most importantly the food was DELICIOUS.
Wow! This was utterly amazing, the tastes were absolutely wonderful and Ailsa took us through each step in such a patient, easy to follow manner. She is such a star.
Fantastic, really easy all ingredients included, everything weighed out for me, instructions step by step. Ailsa is very friendly and a good instructor.
My partner and I had a great time - Ailsa is such an engaging teacher and the recipes are delicious! Bonus points for supporting a great charity too!
This class is BYOB, so you’re very welcome to bring along drinks to enjoy during the session. We’ll sit down together at the end to enjoy the food we’ve prepared.
You’ll work together as a private group, usually in pairs, with plenty of hands-on involvement and guidance throughout.
